I recently stayed at a fantastic hostel in Tintagel called Dolphins. My purpose was to explore the area and enjoy a budget-friendly stay. The staff, John and Leah, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The hostel had a cozy communal area with a pool table and Netflix, perfect for socializing and relaxing. The showers were the best I've had in a long time, with high pressure and warm water. The beds were also very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the hostel was conveniently located in the heart of Tintagel village, making it easy to explore on foot. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, including the spotless shower walls. I had an excellent experience at Dolphins and will definitely be back.
Would recommend this hotel.

Really spacious and fun place to stay. Has everything you need, space to relax and chill - pool table, TV but also a kitchen for breakfast and cooking if you fancy it. Liked the friendly welcome. Everything was as described. Enjoyed socialising with other people staying. Great position in the centre. Good security. Good kitchen. Friendly, competent staff. The most amazing people and perfect location to get around.
Breakfast was pretty ordinary. The cheapest of cheap cereals and low-quality bread/spreads - most things had run out.

I recently stayed at Dolphins in North Cornwall for a relaxing getaway. The owner, John, was delightful to talk to and gave great recommendations for exploring the area. The hostel's location near Tintagel Castle made it easy to visit. The atmosphere was laid-back, and the hostel was serious about cleanliness and common sense rules. The rooms were not overcrowded and the filling breakfast options were a plus. I also appreciated the clean shared facilities and the value for the price.
Can recommend this hotel.

The location of this backpackers is great, with the castle nearby and stunning beach scenery. the staff and owner are super friendly and welcoming, creating a chilled out vibe. the beds are comfy and the showers have great pressure. the kitchen facilities are well equipped, and the breakfast options like croissants and oats are very much appreciated.
The bunk bed layout in the room can be inconvenient, especially if you end up on the top bunk directly under a bright light.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with advice and recommendations. the social atmosphere was great, making it easy to meet new people and make friends. the location was also convenient, with everything within walking distance.
The bathroom in the dorm was quite cramped, making it difficult to move around. there was a false fire alarm in the middle of the night, causing a bit of inconvenience and disruption.
